Perfectionist

Does anyone here identify themselves as a perfectionist? or is close with one? If you are, where has it led you so far? and those who are not, what's your opinion on it?

I don't think this plane of existence could support true 100% perfection. If it could, it would be perfect uniform nothingness. So why bother? Life is chaos. Order is just another manifestation of that chaos. Sure, I love making things organized, and I will always spend hours to days amending personal works and creations (Including posts on message boards like this) over and over again. But I really am not concerned with perfection. The act of improvement is just enjoyable for me.

Not really. I don't like perfection. However, I am a people-pusher and tend to nag a lot when I think my partner or friends aren't the best versions of themselves. I also try to do the best I can with my own ambitions.

It's possible I kinda am a perfectionist but just with specific things just like what I do with my own hands like models, drawings, paintings and, of course, my blueprints. My buildings have to look better than anyone else's. Outside of that, I'm a very unorganized person.

Depends.... When I do something for myself, I don't really put that much thought and effort into it. But if I do something for a person I care about, I feel like they deserve nothing less than perfect. Then I proceed to double check/triple check. Investigate everything, search for any errors. Recalibrate, decorate, calculate the trajectory...take a shower when-....*ehem* Ok you get the idea....

Yeah, in certain things. For instance in my job I had to create my own system of overhead organization because people didn't know what they are doing. The store I work at is the most organized out of them all and thats because of my own ocd XD

i like to make things that are cool and make them better. not sure if thats the same thing, i guess thats why i like doom 2 so much because its a crappy game made better but i like fast paced shooters or els id thik the game sucked

like a bit ago i thought of whats better then a boatercycle a enclosed boatercycle. ive thought abought with train stops, if the grid was like a pizza it would be easyer to get to the stop. and other things
