MASTERPIECE ANIME

What are the best anime you ever seen that you would rate as a MASTERPIECE? I'll start: CLANNAD K-ON EF: Tale of melodies and memories Initial D FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood Will add more later....

Hmmmmm. You got mine with Clannad/ Clannad: After Story. Does Studio Ghibli count? If not, my second one would probably be Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit. That one was definitely well made, and left me with a tear at the end.

I'll stop here.

I'd add Tokyo Ghoul and Death Parade to those already mentioned. The feels. As for anime movies, definitely "Ame to Yuki" and Mononoke.

Black Lagoon I would definitely rate as a masterpiece. There is another, but I'm not sure if it would count as a masterpiece, since it's ... ... One Piece.

A few of these are on my lists as well. One I haven't seen mentioned yet is Monster. Monster was a masterpiece. And it is one of the few anime that I can say lived up to, if not surpassed the manga.
