Does appearance really matter?

Yes, they do matter. If you are ugly then you should be forced into a cave. It should be sealed to save the rest of humanity from breeding with you. Now for my real answer and not that bs one. It doesn't matter to me but I have an absolute minimum. This minimum is really low but it's been tested as what I can take. This is just off of appearance. If your personality is divine then you will become extremely sexy in my book... regardless of your appearance.

It does to me. I'm a very sexual person and find it difficult to be attracted to most people. If I can't see myself being intimate with someone, it'll never work out. Of course, I'm attracted to other qualities but if someone doesn't appeal to me physically, I can't have a lasting relationship with them. I'm not looking for anything in particular. There aren't really any features that appeal to me across the board, I just know when I'm attracted to someone. It makes dating very difficult. >.>

It doesn't matter up to a certain point, if you completely neglect yourself then others will see that and probably avoid you, but it mostly comes down to your personality, having an attractive appearance can entice people, but having an attractive personality can captivate people. If you act like "normal" people and forsake your true nature then you won't be happy, but you will attract people similar to how to act, my advice would be to put yourself foremost and be sure that you're happy, that way you will attract people that think and feel the same way you do, thus leading to a real connection and not one born of lies.

My mind is simple. My heart is picky. My little me doesn't care 85% of the time. But really though. It really depends on the person and how they carry themselves. But I think overall yes. It's basically a yes or a no without reason for me. Those that everyone finds attractive, I don't at times. And those that everyone doesn't find not that much attractive, I do at times. So it's a 50/50 shot. Unless you're straight up scary looking. XD

The face. If they don't have a pretty face there isn't even a chance. Sure personality is great, but it's hard to be passionate when your not physically attracted to your partner. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Take care of your body, hygiene. If you're still losing the weight, working to overcome some setback in the looks department, then just that fact will amplify your attractiveness imho. But give me the most beautiful woman in the world and give her a shitty personality, I doubt even my door would grace her backside.
