Why arent people more straightforward...

I never had a situation that bad, but I hate when people do stuff like that. I'm bad enough in social situations. People don't need to make it harder for me.

Oh Yeah. I've certainly dealt with flaky people. Quite alot actually. I get the impression that ppl who don't want to be your friend tries and give off hints for you to know, without out right saying it to sound like an ass. Still leading ppl on only makes things worse. They should nip it in the bud and tell you early as possible before things get really ugly. But alas ppl will continue to remain so complex and fickle, especially after you thought you made a great new friend. P.S. Yasshat will probably be here sooner or later.

man its funny i just had a similar situation. i never understood how is hard for people to just be straight forward. a lot of things would be out of the way faster if they would just be honest

Funny I was going to say I understand where hes coming from. When im going through a lot I tend to ignore peoples messages too, its not on purpose but you tend to isolate yourself. However I wouldnt go as far as deleting messages an people off my friendslist. Your basically saying I dont want to be your friend period. So that parts kinda weird he clearly just does not want to be bothered by you. Im currently going through a similar situation with one of my bff's. Shes not ignoring me but we barely talk an whenever something comes up she constantly lies too get out of it. Like just too keep me around or something our relationships been strained for over a year now. Its just hard to let go of a 10 year frendship. Most people just arnt honest I never understood why though.

Because it's easier to ignore someone you don't want to talk to unless you have to see that person on a semi regular basis. Life problems aside, as many people have them, people have a tendency to keep them bottled up and not want to broadcast their issues to the rest of the world because of the depression and potential drama (depending on the situation) bringing it out into the open can cause. In this particular instance OP, it just sounds like he doesn't want you to be in his life any longer and is hoping you'll get the hint by making an effort not to talk to you. As it sucks to lose a friend/relationship in this manner, sometimes you just have to be accepting of the fact people can move on from friendships in their lives and want to deal with their problems in their own way even if you have a sincere interest in helping them with said issues. Maybe there were things that happened between you and he that he did not like and that caused him to want to stop being your friend even if he never gave you a clear answer as to why. It sucks, but the best thing you can do is move on and not try to waste more time trying to figure out what happened. If he's interested in being friends with you again, he'll be the one to make an effort to contact you.

Sometimes you jist dont want to talk to people but seriously if you go mintha without talking to the person and they legit ask you if you dont wanna talk to them rather than to lie and say no he could have said yes dick move deleting you if you ask me
