Why arent people more straightforward...

Well, a lot of times people are passive-aggressive because of their culture. For example, Far east asians tend to be far more passive-aggressive than American people, from what I have seen. And it's simply because if you're straight-forward and tell someone, "I don't want to be friends with you anymore." then you look like the villain/bitch. And keeping face is very important, so being PA is the easiest thing to do, hoping the other person will take the hint. You probably shouldn't keep in contact with him anymore, doesn't seem like it's worth.

Don´t trust people who uses excuses all the time. I started an anime club at my school three years ago. Started of well but soon some of them never showed up always complaining they had to study or other stuff. I mean i also had homework and test. Plus i added extra classes. But i always took the time to show up even if i have homework and haven´t even started or a test the next day. whenever i didn´t want to go or couldn´t, i just say not coming today.

I ignore alot of my friends when life goes downhill but if he told you to bear for a while.. I guess it's worth waiting.. If he just got pissed and deleted you in anger... He should get back to you.. or you can try too.. really doesn't matter who breaks the ice if yore friends >.>

Sometimes it really is just about life. Life keeps you busy. But if it is just that he doesn't want to be friends, then you shouldn't waste your time. I'd just send him a message saying something like "I'm here if you need me. Message me whenever you're ready." or something, but don't actively wait for a reply. That way, if it is just life drama, you can still continue the friendship afterwards. But if he's just ignoring you, you're not wasting your time either.

Y'all should come to the Netherlands. A lot of Americans that come here think we're rude; we're not, we're just brutally straight-forward. :P
