Do you like to go to cons in a group or alone?

I've got a bestie who'll join me from time to time. Just depends on if he's got prior family engagements with his wife and kids. Lousy adults and their need to have lives and whatnot.

Groups are fun with the right people to a con, but going alone I meet way more people. I now have con friends that I meet and see and hang with sometimes at the different local cons I go too.

Groups are nice, but their are cons where you're better off Lone Wolfing it (colossalcon, getting drunk/high and just joining random groups/room parties).

WHAT FUDO REALLY MEANS : I usually just lay my drunk black ass down on hotel hallway floors until Russians start arguing with me, then end up sending their big brother Russian up to tell everyone to stop having fun.

LOLOLOLOL. THAT WAS ONE TIME. What about you Mr Im gonna try to give around slices of pizza to random people stumbling down through the lobby. >.>

Going to a con alone would be terrible imo. Unless it's very local and I'm just going for the day to wander the vendor room or something. I couldn't imagine dropping money on a hotel room for an entire weekend just for myself, a pass, gas, and other things to go if I didn't have at least a friend or two with me.
