im not sure what we are talking about here but i guess its that you dont want to grow up? just because your an adult doesn mean you have to let go of the things you used to do as a kid i mean yeah things are different as an adult but me personally wont let go of anime and playing games at all or sitting around eating junk food and stuff. tbh your not alone there are alot of people with the fear of having to let go and grow up me for instance i've been living with my parents for almost 18 years and to suddenly have to get up and go on my own is sort of weird but i have to cause i cant say with them for the rest of my life. i mean i dont cry that much really but i do whine and complain about it but hey thats life

Look, one on says you have to grow out of anime. Anyone who says or thinks that is wrong.
I don't have that many friends I can really share my love of anime with and some people have talked down on me for liking it. But I don't intend to give up on the things I like.
Don't let it bring you down. You like something, that's fine. Don't let people get you down about it.

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.
Truth be told I met a 60 year old woman today dressed up like sailor moon. Now that was a sight one only sees around holidays. Some people were shocked and ashamed, other people like myself joined in on the fun and bounced around squealing different names of attacks or "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"
You can be any age and like anything you are after all only as old as you feel

Growing up sucks anyways. There's not much too look forward too, it's all just misery and suffering and fighting. Growing up sucks the fun out of life. Who wants to worry about stuff like paying bills/taxes, finding a job, or always worrying about your health or the prospect of dying alone? If I could I'd gladly go back to the care free innocence days when I was younger back when I was still naive about the real workings of the world and where everything was new and exciting.

^ That makes two of us. I really wish I could play more video games and watch more anime without worrying about how much longer I can do it, on the off chance my folks die and I end up on the streets, to make matters worse, all employers refuse to hire you unless you're in the "goldilocks" skill level, making it that much more impossible. Sigh how I wish there was some magical fix to ensure EVERYONE on Earth has an equal shot at making it. But alas one does not exist.
I'm not asking for 1 billion dollars, or to have the girl of my dreams fall on my lap, or suddenly lose all of my extra weight just by the snap of my fingers. All I'm looking for is a job, so I can make some money to buy more junk for myself obviously, and on the off chance my folks kicks the bucket, I can crash at a friend's house and pay rent there with my paychecks. But nope I can't even get a simple part time job that pays 7.25 an hour. I search and search(still am but not as much since I got stressed out and depressed searching day in and day out every single day every single week to no avail)
Sorry I ranted, I was just frustrated with how my life turned out to be is all. Although they're far worse things that happened in my life(which I'm not very comfy sharing, but it was horrible shit)
Sigh in before the site's meaner members barge in here with durr hurr stop bitchin, stop whinin,oh you're lazy, to all of you people out there that say that shit, shut the fuck up, you aren't in our shoes you have no right to say that unless you're in the exact same predicament or are there with us, because 9 times out of 10 we ARE trying or at least HAVE. So shut the hell up and don't bug us.

Tiger Festival, I know where you're coming from. This might be a silly question but I don't suppose you've tried simply lying on your resumes? I really don't think I'd have gotten my current job if I was honest on that thing. worst case scenario is they don't give you the job anyways so there's nothing to loose.
and yeah some people around here can be jerks like that. They don't know/understand the full situation or even care, and they certainly aren't gonna try to help. Some people are born with silver spoons and treat others like they were too. Fact is everyone's situation is different and life is harder for some people than others.

^I never have. But if lying helps I'll do just that.
That's just the wheel of fate. That's why I don't hold it against anyone who resorts to suicide, since they feel less important than others because of that fact.
Sigh Tis the way of life.

There's nothing childish about liking anime and disliking casinos. I hate casinos, alcohol, smoking, drugs, all of that. Really what maturity is(for me), is how you can handle situations, be responsible for your own actions, and become open-minded.
