How do girls feel about otaku who collect?

For a long time I have been nearvous to show off my anime obsessions in my room. I'm mainly talking about stuff like those anime figurines otakus collect. Girls, how would you react if you saw anime figurines in a guy's room? Are they a sure-fire way to remain a virgin forever?

i'm sure it would vary, for women who are not into the anime or geek scene, yeah it would be a pretty big turn-off. for women who are into the geek scene and especially anime, it wouldn't be a problem at all, in fact probably a bonus turn-on. however if the figurines are just a bunch of half-naked girls, it'd probably become a turn-off because they may take you for more of a hentai/ecchi fan then anything and for most (not all girls of course) ecchi is typically a least favourite genre towards women

Sooner or latter women will realize that those figs are really experience, which in turn means the collector has lots of money to blow, which in turn means they'll be beating off the ladys with a stick sooner or latter. Just give it time, they'll put their prejudices aside for the green.

No way. a girl who like anime will like you even more for it. I have a Hess Truck collection and manga on my wall. lol. I don't collect figures. I rather buy a manga.

depends, i mean there are some girls who yeah are into the ecchi hentai figures, but i've known more who are turned off by it.

I'm not personally a huge fan of collecting figurines, even from things that I like, mainly because it's just something I just don't care very much for. But I wouldn't say it's a make or break deal. If it was all/a large quantity of porn-esque figurines, I might be a bit taken aback. But that's also kinda dependent on how risque and how many of these super risque figures are there. Other than that, I don't really care. Basically, it depends on the person.
