As someone with fairly sever breathing problems I prefer not to be around smokers. Like if they're family or coworkers then fine, but I wouldn't want to hang out in a smoking area just because. I drink like barely once a month but don't mind if other people do. (Although the bartender that I do know had me deal with a trouble customer last time I went in.) I tend to be the sober friend and don't mind that.
