Do guys like it when girls ask them out first?

I agree with the Wallace above me. Personally as an introvert, I usually don't like those uncomfortable awkward situations where you expose yourself.

Does that actually happen? I would love it if a girl asked me out. It would be such a rare event I'd have to say yes. Girls who are different pique my intrest.

Woahsa, asked out as in a girl taking ME out for the date and paying for me? That's never happened for me unfortunately, but I've had girls make the first move on me.. Also unfortunately, I didn't like them much tho so it was a no goes.

I have too much pride to actually ask a guy to be my boyfriend. Not that I'm proud of that but I can't help it. Maybe if I'm asking him out on a date,sure.

@maria - brutal getting put on the spot. So he was caught off guard, that does not mean he does not like you just unavailable in his mind...likely nervous too. Try to get to talk to him alone away from doting friends. Just tell him what you got to say, don't open with talking about liking his looks or too much. Most importantly make sure he understands 'why' you like him when he didn't think it was possible. You have to find out and now that's it's out in the open anyway. Go for the one shot death punch. You will meet many people who will take your breath away. If you never ask the answer is always no....
