Getting back together with an ex

Me and my ex dated for a long time in freshmen year but it never when anywhere, he didn't even kiss me. So I broke it off. Now we hang out alot and I'm wondering if maybe we should get back together or just stay friends.

Even as a necroed topic, as a rule of thumb, unless the relationship ended on amicable terms I wouldn't advise it. Ex's are usually ex's for a reason. It's better to move on and find someone new than to be hung up on someone who you can't get over.
