Just to say (and I know that a lot of people were saying "tired of having people on just looking for friends) that in my area it's really difficult to find legitimate gamers/anime lovers that have it as a big part of their life so it's refreshing to be able to come back to a place that has people in it who more or less get me. :P That's my two cents on the subject (and the reason I continue to use maiotaku over other sites), but I wanted to see if there were any cool stories of people hooking up at all.

I think that too. I can recall several accounts where my friends have stopped looking for love only to have it whack them in the face right then. I was just skimming the forums and saw a bit of conversation on that which made me start to wonder if there were any success stories yet, or if this site is more in the trend of a social network.
