Higuruma Hammer Time

AC Shadows... I have about 30 hours in the game and will say anyone that cries about the game being DEI, woke and/or states the gameplay is trash is 100% just grifters. Shadows blows away Valhalla and at minimum is on par with Black Flag, Origins, and Odyssey. The black samurai, Yasuke, has the EXACT same story setup as John Blackthorne in the show Shogun. He isn't some honored samurai, he was a black slave of the Portugeuse who pawned him to a Japanese lord in exchange for the freedom of their own merchant traders. The Japanese lord accepted solely cuz he noticed that Yasuke was able to merely glance across a room and identify where each threat would come from. With that said, I rarely use Yasuke. I'm a female ninja all the way, and if I can romance a female, I'll be a lesbian ninja. Yeah, the facial animations are bad (but no worse than AAA games like BG3) the Eng dub is atrocious (had to switch to Jap sub) and the story overall is generic (I've never played AC for the stories). The battle system is easily the best of any AC game I've played, and the environments are the best graphically that I've seen. Horizon Forbidden West Remastered is the only game that can be argued. But that only applies if you're playing on the PS5 Pro or on PC with a GPU with ray tracing.
