Well there are always at least a few gross people on any site like that. Gotta sift through some dirt here and there before you find the gems or something like that.

Give man fish, feed a day. Teach man fish, feed lifetime. No fish means no life. Lifetime not feed. Starve. Who teach fish?

Now all of that said, I will say I am not against stricter regulations on pornographic content. The world and Internet has changed greatly from where it was 90s-2010s. And now with the AI element involved where anyone can just generate their own with a few prompts + so many kids essentially raised on tablets and phones with little oversight from parents at such young ages, this kind of content is freakishly ubiquitous and easily accessible to youth at levels I've never even imaged could be possible in the past. This is anecdotal, but there was an incident at a highschool in my area where one of the students was creating AI images of a classmate and posted them online. I remember when I was much younger, I figured out how to disable parental blocks on TVs and the family computer, but the barrier is practically non-existent now. I think we can all agree minors having unfettered access to this kind of content and easy access to generation of it is something should be attempting to mitigate at least in some way.

Honestly I'd be more willing to entertain some of these porn ban or ID arguments in theory. The problem is a lot of these "Muh degeneracy! Ban the porn!" People often propose no real solutions with these issues. Several countries are having cultural and economic issues with people not getting married and starting families. So many people actively not even pursuing relationships even into their 30s and 40s. But seldom do I hear this camp really get into the roots of these issues and talk about solutions. All I hear is ban outlets people turn to for coping or entertainment to live with these issues, but never talking about root causes. It is like how the war on drugs failed. Drugs are a solution, albeit a bad one, for issues people are facing in their lives. Let's not tackle the root causes for why they choose this. Let's just tackle the method of coping people turn to. No problems solved.
