I know my advice may sound vague, but just be casual. I gad to trick my brain into stop trying to making socializing and making friends as some feat to achieve and just do it. Just go up to people, say Hello, if you. You notice something about them to make conversation, do it. Then go off and tell them to have a good day. Just keep doing that and eventually you’ll find someone you have repeated interactions with. Some will stick, some won’t. But just make a habit of saying hello to people and introducing yourself

I’ve finally gotten a chance to watch Laid Back Camp “Yurucamp.” This show is peak good vibes and turn your brain off. The characters are genuinely lovable and the soundtrack is so chill. This is the closest thing to a real touching grass feeling watching anime can give. Also solidifies in my mind more people should go camping and just sit in nature to decompress. This show has actually motivated me to look up camp sites and get some gear together.

I just finished watching Banished From The Hero’s Party. I have some intensely mixed feelings about this anime. Red and Rit are a hecking wholesome anime couple and I loved seeing their interactions. But the pacing of this show is terrible. It tried to rush through so much material of the light novel that it skips over significant moments in the development of their relationship. Things like their first kiss, first date and such happen off screen and we are just told they happened between episodes. Then there is how it deviates into the warrior’s quests and his sister Ruti. There is a lot of interesting stuff there. But that too is so rushed you can’t enjoy it. Also it wasn’t what we were here for. We just wanted Red and Rit wholesomeness. So I’m left with this feeling of not knowing what this show is supposed to be.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue. But one major issue I’ve been having connecting with people here is getting notified if my friend requests were accepted. I’ll get notified if the reply to a post, send me a message or send me a friend request. But if they accept my friend request with no DM, I get no notification about that. Some people have accepted my requests and I don’t realize it until weeks or months later because that gets buried.
