yaasshat @yaasshat Years o'l self-deprecation. It's a wonderful gift until it's the god's honest truth. Snake, I know we don't talk much, but I pay attention to people's mannerisms on here more than most probably think and you seem like a genuinely good guy. Not in the way good guy has been tainted, but like a strong young man who's making a good future for himself. I truly believe you will find a woman who will love you as you do her. Now, it may take time, but when you find her and she funds you, just know that you will feel as though you'd wait a thousand lifetimes to have met her once. You a good man with a good head on his shoulders, you'll do well in life, I'm sure.:)

PucaetGniliasEht @thesailingteacup You're so sweet and uplifting! I don't quite know that I believe in love, but mixtures of hormones, pheromones, genetics and such can cause attachment and lust. I question love as a reality vs a theory and biological components.

Love is not some sort of magical thing, nor is it strictly an emotion or always filled with romance. I love my fiancee deeply, but I don't always have "butterflies" in my stomach. As I sit here, typing on some little site, my fiancee said "You are incredibly sexy", I had to laugh a little and just say "But, I'm just on my phone." and she just says "That's all it takes.". To me, sometimes it's those simple little things that prove love, rather than "feel" like love. Love is passionate, but not in that theatrical kind of way. I'm no expert, I just have my opinions.
