The issue with Cavill is that DC was shit in planning and generic on their choice of characters to use.Been more than 10 years for him and it took way too long until they got someone to finally plan it for them

KEK your gonna hate me but yeah i finally watched helluvaboss and FUCKING HATED IT LOL holy shit vivi just uses it as her own animated wattpad for her fujo fanfic. and the MISOGYNY HOLY SHIT! not an episode goes by when a woman isnt called a c*nt/whore/bitch! largely for no reason or the outlash is unwarrented! fizz is the only amazing character, and lust was the only truly good episode, but even that was ruined by blitzo, because everything revolves around the male cast. not A SINGLE fleshed out female character. you can not name me ONE. they are all side characters used to flesh out the male characters. thank FUCK that studio took away so much wrting power from viv for hazbin hotel because she can truly not help herself from writing pure fujo fanfics and throwing away the actual plot! oh but also that cowboy bad guy was pretty kool. the animation is also way better than it has any right to be. very fun to watch.

godspell @godspell Isn't that because they're in hell and it's commonplace for that? The character designs are still brilliant. I want to believe it portrays women as a pillar of support like millie and Luna. Blitz makes me sad everytime I watch him. He's so self destructive and believes he'll die alone. He has so much self hate he draws over his face on every picture he's in

godspell @godspell Loona we're slowly fleshing her out. With the party it helps show she has trouble fitting in or relating to people. She has trouble connecting with gluttony just bc she believes everyone against her or feels like she has to hate her bc she's with Tex (Dex?)

Lamby @momoichi then why dont the men ever get attacked the same way? the characters are over designed, its hard to keep up with some of them. moxie and millie are well designed, same with stolas, but blitzo is over designed to hell and back. fizz has the best design/voice actor. but its just as you said. they are pillars of support. not real characters. luna is the same as stolas's daugher, a device that allows what good parents they are. i havent seen the newest episode, but i heard its again, not something that fleshes luna out, but again ends up being a blitzo pity party. havent seen it yet but i 100% believe it because that is how every episode ends. even lust shafted any millie character growth (yet again it was 'millie protacc moxie >:( ') and ended up being all about stolas and blitzo. millie is just the great gf and luna is just the edgy daughter. there is no millie without moxie, but there is a moxie without millie, and there is a blitzo without luna, but no luna without blitzo.

But I also understand Blitz feels like a victim being used by everyone even though stollas is one of the people he cares for. But man I wish we could see millie and Luna grow as characters. They seem put together characters but I feel like everyone else they are flawed. Moxie abused by his father was great since his father just treats him as a tool and thinks gays are gays nothing different from bisexual

Lamby @momoichi see? if it was a luna episode, why are you feeling for stolas and blitzo. this cartoon use to be about going to the human world to kill people for revenge. when was the last time that was? how are they keeping the lights on? and this isnt even shafted for plot growth, wev seen greed and lust, but no real world building. visit and leave and it looks the exact same as everywhere else. none of the characters have grown, not even the stars, stolas and blitzo. they are the same as the beginning, except blitzo cant stop crying now. around 16 episodes, and they are the same people. so if vivi isnt interested in expanding on them or the plot (we had a SINGLE return villain in how many villains?! the cherubs disappeared, the d.o.r.k's are gone, only the cowboy guy, who admittedly seems like an interesting character) im gonna keep watching it, but only because im curious how this shit show will finally sink kek

'see you in hell' is a blaring plot hole if not. but the issue is, why would he know? a core of the next movie would have to hinge on riddler unmasking batman, otherwise his knowledge means nothing, it holds no substance. and most of the movie goers think he doesnt know. so what was the point of him knowing if that even went over the heads of most movie goers? i have no idea.

Where his father had two sides. Day he was kind. Night he be evil after drinking. Beating Harvey when playing head or tail with the coin he used now to commit crime

godspell @godspell The build up of hearing two face voice in psychee from the increase stress of how his brand of justice on crime isn't working. That eventually he starts manipulating the evidence to incarnate people. Eventually he even wants to kill the criminals until he finally got hit with acid

godspell @godspell I really wanna see him be batman ally. Better. So the emotional damage hits harder. I dont want to see the halfway point he changes and becomes the main villain of the movie

The coin decides whether he does good or evil

godspell @godspell The coin a symbolism how good and evil are part of the same coin. Duality is the perfect representation of two face. A character who struggled with his bipolar disorder. Because of his father he had trouble making crucial decisions that's why he struggles in these tough choices. Keep in mind he feels that he has no responsibility in his actions bc these are the results of life and the coin

Lamby @momoichi kek i was actually looking up the actors for harvey dent (neither are hot but maybe when made to look gritty theyll look better) and yeah holy shit 1940s, thats insane. i thought batman came around in the 60s. hold ass comic. so in that case, bruce banner stole from harvey dent. i feel like marvel has stolen more characters than dc has (like deathstroke to deadpool). then again stan lee was also so casual with putting his name on other peoples things. wouldnt harveys issue be ocd, not really bi polar? then again, bi polar has two different types, right? so maybe ocd is a characteristic of the type 1 (i think the manic depressive type is a type 2)

godspell @godspell Nah I think banner is his own thing. In the creation of Two face. They took inspiration from Dr jekyll and Mr Hyde. For Bruce banner the hulk is the inner child he locked away with his trauma when his father abused and kill his mom. His father predicted he would become a monster

godspell @godspell He has other hulks trapped inside of him as well. I believe initially characters are similar. But they grow and change with time.

Lamby @momoichi my guess for the movie might be; harvey dent is in the running for da, has mayors backing. maybe batman investigates him, maybe they work together (i like the idea they do that) or they jump into harvey being a baddie. sat at his desk late after hours in his office, alcohol bottles everywhere, his little coin, flipping it compulsively for mundane shit. he gets elected, does it for his cases because he just cant help it (im guessing theyll lean into the ocd angle as its ment to be a more real version) and the corruption is heard by batman, who had a hand in apprehending these people, he knows theyr guilty or not. penguins taking over gotham (though idk how? hes not in the mob, hes an associate) and targets harvey as harvey likely wants to persecute him. batman doesnt know why harvey is so chaotically preosecuting people and letting others go. batman gets between these two, saving a harvey that he dislikes for his internal corruption. the main conflict i think will be penguin vs harvey. then riddler and joker break out mid/late movie. and because reeves loooooves smashing as much villains into his movie as he can, we get teased by jonathan crane at arkham and ending with harvey (maybe either by a joker/riddler explosive or attack from penguin) getting two faced.
