Lamby @momoichi any idea why it got so little episodes? 80's in general wasnt a great year for animation, mostly just artless, souless attempts at selling toys. hannah barbara and disney were the rare few that actually produced real cartoons for the sake of story telling and art

godspell @godspell I think they couldn't get toys to sell or a company to buy the rights. But it was an amazing story. Voice acting great. Just a shame

Lamby @momoichi reminds me of symbiotic titan. really good cartoon, but never got greenlit for another season thanks to the lack of toys they could sell. worst part is cartoonnetwork owns the rights in perpetuity, so no other network could ever give it another shot :/

Lamby @momoichi a dimensional rift sucks me into whatever i was reading at the moment. im rereading harry potter at the moment, so probz that. id use my knowledge of the series to join voldemort and kill harry. hed probz kill me later anyways for not being muggleborn, but its kool. its the journey that matters, not the destination. also in this voldemort is still a dilf, not a snake.

godspell @godspell I'm reading the boxer. A character who's been warped to be miserable depressed and all powerful untouchable in boxing. However the man who inspired him with hope came back. Apparently he's dying but fights him in the finals letting himself get pummeled for 12 rounds. He says life is about love and death is never lonely. He believes boxing is love and what he sees is a little boy crying who suffered abuse and loss. So at the last second he hits him with a small blow. And the crowd cries feeling this indescribable feeling when he says it's okay and smiles. Then dies

godspell @godspell So afterwards a lot of the main and sub characters moved on. They decided to finally move forward with their lives and not letting the past chain them down

Lamby @momoichi there was this manga, called run boy run, which was the same. it was about this wimpy guy that learns boxing so he can stand up for himself. it doesnt end with him winning a championship or anything, he even loses nearly every fight still, but he gets into those fights and he stands his ground til he physically cant anymore. hes no longer a loser, even though he continues to lose. one of my fave mangas
