Glad you had a good time on your trip. Never heard of that place but it sounds nice. You'll have to tell me what those Japanese secrets to good luck and happiness are.

•{ I'm back folks! }•
I saw a graffiti of a ghost on a tree while my friend was driving me to Ojai.
It was unexpected but cool!
We first stopped by Bart's Book Store. I had only taken four photos in the place, they did come out really nice though. And I grabbed a manga drawing book for another pal of mine. As for me I just bought myself two books, the stuff there is a bit pricey but the variety is nice especially if you seek books on meditation and magic.

Because of the heat at the time my friend and I had to skip out little nature walk, why kill yourself in the hot sun ya know?
So we went over to Booccalie's instead to have lunch there.
We could see the oak trees behind the restaurant, originally I wanted to sit close by the trees but there were quite a few nosy little bugs and I just don't like getting to close to insects... (o_o)'
I'll touch lady bugs and rollipulies but that's about it.
In the end we sat down at the table closer to the restaurant. The sights around Booccalie's was still very nice, I got some shots there too while I waited for my pizza.
I spent most of my time chatting with my friend and they were surprised that I wasn't too fond of bugs given the fact that I wanted to be out in nature. LOL

It was getting a bit late so we had to pack up and go. I was given the option by my friend to choose one (it ended up as three) more place(s) to stop at.
We swang by a very expensive small clothing store, but a lot of the stuff there looked pretty dull for my taste. (-_-)
At most there was a nice whitish looking long coat that had blue flowers embroidered on it.
We didn't see much else there.

After we exited the little clothing shop I stopped to find a mysterious garden like path in an alleyway, at least it gave me and alleyway like vibe. The second way I can think of describing it is like how the kids in My Neighborhood Totoru discovered the way into Totoru's home.
It turned out to be another store and this shop had vines on the wall and ceiling, it was filled with many gardening items and home decorations. I'll be sure to put my photos under PICTURES on my page here on the website for you to see.
It was very nice there and the path was kinda long which was neat, it made a great final stop.

I of course had to check out the park fountain and take one photo of it. Besides that I saw a Pokémon in someone's car window. Along with some real live horses that were crossing the road with their riders.
We made the trip back to home seeing the hills and the ocean view on our way and thus ending our little fun adventure in Ojai.

•Gonna be caught up this week. (=^ェ^=)
I'm heading to Ojai with a buddy of mine so we can check out one of it's bookstores, there's even the possibility of me exploring one of Ojai's wonderful nature spots if we have the opportunity.
This will be I second time visiting the place so I'm most certainly looking forward to it, the last trip great and made me wish that I had more adventures like that in my life (Apart of this does have to do with my problematic living circumstances but I'll make a post about that a different time.)
I also just so happened to had my very first in person tarot card reading there in Ojai, it was a good first time experience and the reading was done in a very lovely backyard with many different statues, the Reader there was very nice too.
Okay so this is something I'll tell now since I won't be back on here for about a week, I plan on taking some photos of my trip and may even a video if I can and then when I come back to Maiotaku I'll share them with you guys.
Don't expect to see my face or my friend in any of the photos though, I'm keeping it private for good reasons.
I hope all of you have a good fun weekend and stay safe. ヽ(^。^)ノ
Yellow Otaku @yellowotaku Sounds like a lot of fun! Have a safe trip!

O>•{ CALLING FELLOW SHAMISEN PLAYERS! }•<O
I just wanted to a little shout out to the folks who knows how to play the wonderful instrument that has been seen in Demon Slayer as well as other anime series, the Shamisen.
I need some help with finding some good beginner friendly music to play on my shabo cardboard shamisen. The booklet that came with my instrument in the past is difficult to fully understand, the english in it isn't the greatest and following the pictures alone doesn't quite help. I feel like I'm missing something...
Either way I've learned somethings thanks to some guides on YouTube, like how to hold the Bachi as one simple example. But any information or sheet music I can read would be much helpful and really help encourage me to practice more.
I really like the sound of a shamisen and I want to make sure the one I have lives it purpose instead of sitting around and collecting dust. (Don't worry I do take care of my instrument.)
