It's not great. That's for sure. Even just opening (and holding) a conversation takes great effort. I've heard this from both sides

It’s been a struggle, I’ll admit. I know my anxiety is mostly to blame, but I have noticed most don’t really care to get to know a person or are too freaked out. It’s already difficult for me to carry on a simple conversation, and it’s not fair to be the only one asking questions.
