Kimi ni Todoke is honestly really good imo. But I wouldn't say it's for everyone. I remember Emirichu once said the same thing she couldn't get into it either. And it was because the main leads don't kiss or anything. So yeah, It's also a shoujo and it just really depends on what you're looking for in a romance anime but as for me i really like it a lot and i was happy with the way it ended. This is an anime that really takes its take with the drama, characters and romance. It doesn't rush into things and the characters take their time to develop overtime. When it gets heavy it's really damn good and the music is amazing.
