Lamby @momoichi yeah, one of thew characters has a brother that is a fat otaku hikikomori with a weirdly handsome face, and apparently he use to be thin and attractive when he was in school and had a lot of dreams, but (i forget why) fell into being a hikkikomori after school and never went anywhere in life. its sad origin but his character is really sweet and upbeat

Lamby @momoichi theyr bringing andrew garfield back? btw wtf is it with spiderman movies and them trying to make peter parker hot? andrew garfield is handsome, and yet they think slapping glasses on him is going to make him a nerd? same with this new spiderman, while hes age appropriate, hes cute, not a nerd. only toby actually fit the bill. i hate super heroes but spiderman is special, its balances morality, good villains, and good plots really well, and yet over the years its missing what made it so good. peter parker is a protagonist because hes young, makes mistakes, unpopular, and most people wouldnt glance at him twice. spider man is the perfect alter ego for someone like peter parker, but people keep trying to make him into a perfect, handsome, well off protagonist like bruce wayne or clark kent

they give miles his own harry osborn, and when his father goes crazy miles gets to have a moment with harry where hes like "i know how you feel. my uncle was evil as well, it has nothing to do with you.' and harry is like '... your right. thank you.' and THEN miles ends up killing the green goblin like lore states and harry feels extra betrayed, extra hatrid for miles than he ever had for peter
im just sayin, if they wanna rebute spider man, reboot him with a fresh character and his fresh storyline (i did like the m.j in the newest spider man though, and how only her initials are the same name. but also fuck m.j, gwen stacy is the only love interest i recognize, WHICH IS ALSO WHY MILES WOULD BE THE PERFECT REBOOTED SPIDERMAN!)
godspell @godspell no i actually feel in this new trilogy will be tom final movies. He will pass on the torch to miles morales. Because we know his uncle exists in the mcu. There's a deleted scene where his uncle calls him saying he'll be late
Lamby @momoichi what movie was that scene from? and if he does get a movie they have to give miles a harry, there is no spider man without mj, gwen stacy, and harry. admittably im not sure how they can keep gwen in miles universe, but there has to be a gwen stacy. but most important is harry. harry is a titular charcter and a huge pillar to any spiderman character. the kind hearted jock that spiderman loves, how he juggles his civilian identity with him and in the end, how they become enemies.

godspell @godspell How so? He's the thing that keeps the avengers human. These gods he fights with in a daily bases shows how much of a good person he is. He's not invulnerable like the others if he gets a broken bone thats it. But goes back other if someone out there needs him.
Lamby @momoichi exactly, hes not invulnerable, which is why he shouldnt be there. i remember him being useless during those weird robot things in the first one, what did he accomplish in the others? and i mean in direct fights with main antagonists, not fighting adds or doing something in the background while the big boys doing the heavy lifting.
godspell @godspell He hasn't been done justice in the mcu. But he did defeat a lot of aliens and robots in the first 2 movies. You should really read his comic from Matt fraction it really is one of the best

Lamby @momoichi elisa lamb is one of the biggest and we have lots of evidence. personally i think she did it to herself, iv seen debunking videos that go over how terrible the security in that hotel was, and being as she had psychotic issues, it seems the most plausible outcome was that she drown herself while she was going through some kind of psychoses
