godspell @godspell Well granted its not as long as one piece. But remember each part is a new story. The author himself said he did it this way. Bc if he's drawing for 30 years it better be something new

godspell @godspell Well he likes to take jojo culturally depending what Era in time he is as well. And he's such a fan of music because in later chapters a lot of the abilities are named after songs/musicians. Plus the whole point is to see and enjoy the misadventures of this family

wtf hells paradise, like, just ended and the mangaka's already published a new manga?
i tried to read sakamoto days and i really liked the first few chapters, but im not a fan of the sakamoto going back into doing spy stuff. i wanted it to just stay him swatting flies away from his comfy conbini is clever ways every week.

godspell @godspell I enjoy ayashimon a little more than I should for a simple plot. Just a battle junkie character that trained like an anime character who achieves above human level power. So hes bored with dull fights. And dreams of a final boss. So he meets a girl who a supernatural yakuza leader. Yes Yokai yakuza. So pretty fun shit

Lamby @momoichi hhmmm sounds weird. doesnt really sound simple if theres yokai yakuza bosses. iv never hated a protagonist more than i hated gabimaru, (i LOVED everything about hells paradise except him, every page he was on was so cringy, only redeeming part of his character was his waifu) so i am curious to see if hes created a good protagonist this time

godspell @godspell Well its only 8 chapters in. But I cant help but enjoy a guy who wants to just fight. Like its just a basic shounen to enjoy. Plus a mafia base on yokai ruling Japan. Like how can you not enjoy yakuza

Lamby @momoichi where did you stop reading? cause you gotta get past the winter arc. i know its slow at first but omg. everything past the winter arc is just pain and development that is so creative and unique and just outstanding. phos has the best character arc of any iv ever read, and it works in tandem with the cannon of the world so fucking well. pleeeaaase try and read it again, you wont regret it i promise. just get past the winter arc and youll love it. its like a snowball, the more chapters get go by the better it gets, til the last released chapter.
