Hmm, I think they're alright, but I would prefer tattoos even though they are more permanent than piercings. I like how they can be works of art. Well since you're 18 now, I guess you should have more freedom to do w/e you like. I just wouldn't recommend getting piercings in sensitive places unless you can handle it ~_~. I've seen and heard of some weird stuff o.o... I think you're pretty young and at a good time to explore stuff (no crazy drugs though hopefully *cough cough* ~_~) lol.
