Same reason anyone does a crime. We'd still be getting them with stricter gun laws(If not more due to the fact the area's with them, have more shootings.), and even without them, we'd still have just as much death(Look at UK's violet crime rate.). This wasn't happening thirty, forty years ago, and you can be sure we had guns then. It's the culture that's skewered right now. And until then, We're going to have more and more tragedy.
