Here's a key thing to look for, balance. Think about it, do you really want an otaku? Overly obsessed with all things anime/asian and could live or die with out you? Nah...half way been there with a past relationship...no good. I said half way because I had to put the breaks on that train before it wrecked...though it wreaked for other reasons....meh such is love. There will and has to be compromise but then again you may get lucky and find the reflection of yourself (ewww...wouldn't want that myself....me as a chick...XD). Besides, half the fun is introducing your potential mates into your world as they allow you into there's( ya know.... intimacy).

Funny story that I know no one wants to hear, but any ways a few years ago when I was still in my last relationship my ex convinced me to get rid of my Anime and Game collection. Long story short I still hadn't been into anime a year after we broke up and I really thought I was over it, that is till I watched Fruits Basket for the first time. I heard about it from my friends since I was 13 but never watched it till just about 2 years ago. It completely revived my interest in anime and now my collection is bigger and I feel better then my previous one. Anyways to answer your question have you tried Initial D yet? It is a great summer anime and who doesn't like Eurobeat?

It was a pretty good con. I'm a fan of A-fest better but hopefully with the new hotel A-kon can get back to it's roots. A-fest to me has a more con feeling. Like I can find all the rooms and panels I enjoy. Also I feel less couples :p but with both switching hotels we shall see how it works out.
