You should attend your local city college before heading to a university if you're unsure of what to do. Get all your GE classes out of the way and study hard.

I've learned a lot about stuff like this the hard way. Excluding my last ex (since we're on good terms), I've been in a slump for well over a year. Sounds like you deserve a good guy. Sadly, I'm not quite him since I drink occasionally and I have a bit of a mouth. Aside from those minor flaws, I'm a stereotypical nerd just trying to get by.

Honestly, the best thing you can do now is confront him about your feelings. If he didn't find out from you yourself telling him, then he really doesn't know and could be doubtful on the validity of your infatuation. Just tell him how you feel and ask for a straight answer back. It is probably a 10-15 second sentence in which you say, "Hey (insert name of crush here), I've had a crush on you for (insert how long crush has lasted unless its a creepy length, then just lie and say a month or something lol). I was wondering if you could consider going out with me." Guys are really dense. I am really dense. Unless you're at least this straightforward, you're feelings might not ever reach him. Make sure you make this confession in person, maintain eye contact the entire duration, don't stutter, say it with confidence, and don't be afraid of rejection. Its hard to say no to someone who can meet all the above criteria. The worse thing that will happen after that point is he says "I'm not interested in the slightest". If that happens, I'm sure you'll be hurt, but you'll be able to get over him at that point. If he can't respond with anything right at that moment, then just take it as a "no" and move on. He might come back later and respond to your feelings, but in my opinion, that decision is something that is made instantly. As cliche as this may sound, I believe your heart should always have the answer right away and if its unsure, then the person is probably not right for you.

Let us know how it turn out. I am interested. Only because I am one of those people who used such a strong word. She also couldn't believe that I loved her so. In our case I had no choice but to walk away from it all. She said she needed me but constantly reminded me of how she was depress over the guy that rejected her. I could no longer be her friend and I strongly believe that she needs to be alone to find her self. So even though she didn't want me leave. Her actions were pushing me away. Specially since she no longer took my feelings into considerations. That's what I believe people mean by someone mature. Someone that actually considers how you feel and doesn't trample all over you leading you on just cause they don't want to be alone.

Oh, I know that feeling too. But definitely not as often as with my writing. :P I'm a much better storyteller through art than through words. Usually I have to mix them to satisfy my vision.
