I went to visit some friends in the J.E.T. program and they were in Hirosaki, that place was freaking awesome. We took a day trip to see the large golden Buddha, we went to an Onsen, though the ones in the area that are outside are CO-ed and the indoor ones are split male and female. I went to the outdoor one it was beauty and has some monkeys come chill out with me. I when too was during the time of hirosaki's famous Neputa matsuri and it was amazing. I also stayed in Tokyo for 3 days and hated it. They her nasty to me and called me a stupid foreigner. Also in Hirosaki right off the Shinkansen and off the main train into hirosaki is a Best Western.

im not good at these things at all. i turned 23 in june. i've ben in and out of relationships with all kinds of girls since high school. but for some reason i cannot seem to meet very many otaku girls or even guys (to be friends with) for that matter. i've ben to 5 cons now and i've finally met some people who enjoy otaku. but where i work and live its basically impossible as far as i can tell. all the girls i have dated so far have ben non - otaku. so its really hard to share my passions with them with anime and such. Edit: well i added this thread without a title. damn. so people of maiotaku. what is some good advice or your thoughts about trying to find people who actually do and like the same things you do?
