Well I say the person is crushing hard on you. The best way is to confront the person about it all and find out what there true intent is. The best thing to do is go for the direct approach and if it not for you, try to let the person down nicely. Don't beat around the bush let what you think be known.

Seems like a pretty screwed up thing to do to me. Maybe if she really likes you and hates the guy she's with but can't leave him for whatever reason then I guess it'd be justifiable. That said I've noticed people love to exaggerate about how bad their girlfriend/boyfriend is, could be things can still easily be worked out between them. Besides, you gotta consider how you'd feel if some guy was trying to steal your girl. I once had a thing for a girl who was with a pretty shitty guy, she liked me back but couldn't just break things off with him for a number of reasons (such as living with him as he supported her financially) Not that I ever really asked her to anyway. Dude clearly didn't care about her and was just treating her like more of a pet than a girlfriend and ended up getting tired of her and dumping her anyway, but things with us never went anywhere because of distance issues. Thing is before that guy she was in an even worse relationship with an abusive ass that treated her so bad she tried to kill herself a few times. Really makes me wish I could have been there to have given her a better life, but that's just how things are sometimes.

@Mon well you can run into a few people who are a little crazy I dated this one girl for awhile she was cool but she was completely obsessed with anime I mean I like anime too but she took the fun out of enjoying it and among other things.Also people tend to try and have a anime type of romance mixing fantasy with Reality which can be a turn off

Umm I had a friend who was s hut in the same and he worked on being able to speak up by going to more public gaming events and get togethers. He became a bit of a troll at these events but he became more outspoken and from there he was able to turn the trolling into nice conversation (with some smacks across the head from me of course). Push the envelope. So it takes a little bit of confidence and common sense for the love of god.
