I got into it last year and it quickly became my favorite anime franchise. I hopped in on around the end of part 2 so I was going back and watching Parts 1 and 2 while waiting for Part 3 to come out. Well at first. It was a mysterious presence in the beginning so we the viewers and readers didn't know what to think about what the threat actually was.
