Playstation 2 Help

i know this should have gone in the game forum but it not about video games it's about my game console every time i put a game in it when i play it skips alot and i knew it has to be my playstation messing up my games cause everytime i play them they had a circle of stratches around the disc then i notice my balls are missing lol could that make my games be scratch up? Or is it something else????

its my disc drive though.does anybody else have this problem with playstation 2 i had it for years and i dont know what ellse to do about my disc drive when it does stratch my games up
