History is awesome. I love reading about it. That's the age old struggle, Teacup. Violence amongst people has always been going on.

@Mikan I am sorry to hear that. I was more spankings myself, but what came later on mentally was what was messed me up alot after freshman year of highschool losing my home and seeing everyone in my family go nuts slowly becoming other people. We just have to remember to stay true to ourselves and have kind hearts to know better for when we have children of our own (even adopted children count of course! :p). We will do better than what our parents did to us or life in general.

I got a beatings when I really deserved it, like the time I played with a lighter and nearly burned down the house. I forgot what time if year it was but it was some type of holiday and like the entire family was there more less. My mom, my aunts and my great aunt basically gave me a tag team beating lmao

Ahhh I also used to get pitched a lot by my mom in public to behave. Btw I don’t actually remember much stuff from when I was a kid. My mom is the one who tells me all the things I did n shit. When I was inside that closet I use to bang my head on the wall that it actually made a dent. Can’t really blame my parents thou I was there first child n most likely didn’t know what to do with a crying child.

Looking back my parents were pretty hands-off about discipline unless we really needed it. Like if we're going to do some dumb shit that wouldn't result in death or serious injury my mom would let us just learn our lessons on our own and then tell us why the thing we just did was dumb (if we didn't ultimately use our better judgement after she warned us. :u)
