I have cyanide pills and an exit bag (minus a tank of pure helium) set up for if things get rough. I don't know if I'll ever need them, but having them around brings me clarity knowing I have the option.

Cuz I gave up doing the first move after the past failures. Apparently if the girl asks the guy out the guy pushes the girl away and run off.

It's more of a "it's the same on both sides" kind of thing. It's not a gender role I support, though maybe I'm just being selfish.

@kameiya thats not totally true, in my entire lifetime i have asked out like maybe 2 girls but literally every girlfriend i have had has asked me out.

Yeah, every guy I know would love it if a girl asked them out. One should never lose enthusiasm after a couple of failures either. The next one may just be that special person.

That does not seem to be the case in my area. If the guy likes the girl he asks her out. Due to my experience if a guy likes you he makes the move. I have no interest in chasing anymore men away just cuz I asked them out.
