So people really do that? Ditch everyone else after a love interest? I can understand not associating people who are trying to get with a taken person, but to dotch friends already made that are just that levrl?

its more that someone had a particular goal, ended up making acquaintances, but when they find what they were looking for they peace out. its not all that surprising.

mm, i wouldnt say they werent friends. its just they had a particular goal and got to know people to waste time while they were searching for what they wanted. its not they didnt enjoy their time with other people, but they werent here to make friends. ive wondered a few times myself if i would stick around if i found what i wanted, still dont know the answer.

Yeah, people do that. My first Girlfriend for example was the type who just wanted to isolate herself and I away from the world. She burnt a lot of bridges, which was a real sad thing to watch. It was perhaps the core reason why we were incompatible in the first place, as even though I'm an introvert who if left to his own devices would sit infront of a computer indefinately, I need to feel like the world is bigger than just myself and another.

Oh. Sounds messed up, but i guesd if my bf had a problem with his gf being on a dating site one would have to consider his feelings in it.

Is it really wise to try and just be one unit with your S/O? I dunno, that seems impractical to just burn out contacts once you found a bf/gf

people that do that typically arent even thinking about the other attachments they ve made. they dont mean any harm in doing it, its usually a subconscious action.
