Kameiya oneesan!!Me too! I don't really converse with others unless I see their comments on forums or detailed info or detailed first message unless my battery is over-charged... There have been some exceptions...During the four years, I have come across some "strangers" who sent me short first message(not formalities like "what's up"), but later on their messages became longer and longer...or people started conversations with thought-provoking questions like "Which politician is ur favourite?"

I've spoken with Lamby about Steven Universe, but she's spotty on her activity on this site so I haven't communicated much beyond that.

Midas...if I have to initiate conversations every time then clearly the other person is not for me. If our friendship can end simply by my waiting for the other person to reach out to me then they could not have been too invested. I make a point to reach out to others but I refuse to feel like the only one putting in effort.

Oh trust me I know exactly where you're coming from. I experienced the same thing on plenty of dating sights. This website is a bit different for me though. Some people I communicate more through the forums, some I communicate through the chat, others I communicate with them on their walls, and some are a bit of a mix of all of them.

See, it's not just about dating sites. This site, for instance, is not strictly designed to be just a dating site. The trend I've noticed is, once the person I'm talking to gets a love interest, they then leave or go silent. If you're talking like you want a friend too, don't just leave once you get what your dick wanted.

I confess that I am in the mood to find someone to spam with pictures of birds with hats... Think I should play visual novels for a while just to make sure I don't loose anyone on my friend's list. XD
