They were attempting to be the next Hellsing X Vampire Hunter D. That being the case the art was unique and I did like Father Nightroad in concept. Vampires from an alien world waging war on humans only for one amongst them to have a change of heart and side with humanity sounds cool. It was simply executed poorly.
