If we are talking about first series watched I'd say Dragon ball Z, however the first anime series I finished was Death Note <3

so i remember watching dragon ball as a kid but the first thing i thought of as anime and got me hooked was Akira.

My first anime was Sailor Moon, I didn't really know it was an anime since I was five or six. So, I don't know if that counts. When I first learned what anime was, I watched Naruto. My first manga, I ever read was Fruits Basket. :)

sailor moon I was four years old and me and my younger sister would watch it together. We also had sailor moon barbie dolls tht my mom got us.

TECHNICALLY Voltron on TV back in the early 80s was my first anime, and IIRC i watched Starblazers too. Though what really got me into it was the Gunsmith Cats and Riding Bean anime a friend showed me in HS.
