Japanese tuners and Drifting

kunoichi_chan
Hi People ^^ Not sure if anyone has started a topic like this, but I'll just give a shot. I'm a car lover, especially tuners. Muscle cars are fine with me too, but not into exotics. Anyways, so this is about Japanese tuners, like the Skyline series, RX-7, 350z and so on. Any other fans out there? Same for drifting!! Also, has anyone been to Japan and seen real drifting? Hope we can have a good discussion ^^

Well to start its defintiely more in the outskirts of big cities at least the common drifting is where i was in tokyo you would not find it hardly any but if you went to the outskirts there was more of a chance of it I saw some people with teched out cars rest were just there to be there one of them got tryed to attempt a drift on a intersection curve and got pulled over though still it was cool the outskirts of tokyo were more intersting due to some of the wild turns and highways that they did it on

That's awesome!! I would love to see them on the mountain roads. I recently saw a video on youtube, and it was a cool moment. Just wish I could see it with my own eyes O_O haha was there any skyline R34's? That's my choice car. But not sure if it is capable of doing drifting. So my second choice would be an RX-7 and third might be an S13

Drifting is big on the west coast. All my buddies from basic training talked about it. I myself have been looking for 240sx perf s14+ with a sr20det or a stock 05+ 350z. Saw a freakin 96 skyline r33 i believe for sale but it was so far out of my price range i wanted to cry. Looking at a few vr4s too but those are so hard to find :\

yea I heard there was a few crews down in california, but wasn't sure. 240sx is a good choice. The prices for even an R34, in the states, were to crazy for me. But i got VERY lucky, and was able to find one for $7500, no engine. Had to rebuild from scratch, worth it tho ^^

I would love a FD3S Spirit-R Type B but I can dream. So you got a hold on a R-34 shell Kunoichi-chan? Nice. What have you done with it? Until I make some more $$$$$ I need to be responsible. Sadly my next car might be another econo-car but maybe sometime in the not so distant future I can start workin' on a project car. A co-worker has a true JDM Siliva S13 K's. Just a tease lookin' at it at work. The only RHD I've drove was a Wrangler, LOL.
