Why Bots spam Maiotaku every day

Also ban/ search for the word discord if it is in someones bio, they are more then likely a shitty art scammer that still plagues this place.

I have my discord in my bio and I'm not an art scammer. But having your discord in your bio makes it easy for them to add you because I keep getting requests from them on discord claiming they added me from Maiotaku. It's usually the "I just finished working on a project, it's an art thing, do you want a commission because I'm struggling right now, I'll make it cheap" and proceeds to ask for 100-150$ It's weird because most of the times it's accounts created 5+ years ago, are they on the scamming business for that long or did the accounts got hacked?

My Discord account was hacked last year, and I feel like some of my friends may have been replaced by people pretending to be them. I’m not sure, but it does seem that hackers have been targeting people on this platform. I believe some of the people I met here may be behind the hacks

I saw another one of those rat Bots in the forums today. Dang, I thought it was all handled. Is it possible to auto-hide or ban any post that contains the string "href ="? All these stupid bots always try to embed a link with their trash posts
