Fate/strange Fake

My past attempts were fruitless, however something about this version of the story has my undivided attention plot wise. I recognize that Fate has phenomenal fight scenes as well as stylish artwork, however up until now it just couldn't keep me engaged. You think they will? I'm kinda new to this franchise as a whole. Seems like every iteration is something unique with homages to previous versions?

Yes to Season 2, no to the connections to "previous versions"... not exactly anyways. Each series is a different "route" you can take. The Fate series originally was an online light novel (Nasuverse) that allowed readers to choose their own path when reading said novels, resulting in the different series or "routes" that can be taken; Unlimited blade works, Heaven's feel & Fate. The success of said routes influenced the creation of Fate/Zero & Grand Order which expanded the series to what you see now (Apocrophya, Carnival Fantasm, Fate/hollow ataraxia, Fate/Strange Fake, etc...). BTW - Fate/Strange Fake was originally a fanfiction of a what if the Holy Grail ended up in the States.

you think this season is good (it is, poes law)????? you havent seen anything yet, you gotta give fate/zero a try, easily best fate, hands down.
