@gabriel_true Day 70: Merry Happy Christmas Eve, Gabby! I hope that wherever you are now, that you are eating good food today!! My family and I usually make our late grandad's tuna sandwich recipe with homemade dip and chips for dinner, along with a Grinch punch (it's a green soda drink we make) for our Holiday drink (oh! And for dessert: chocolate chip cookies), but this year we couldn't do that. There's been a lot of things we haven't been able to do this year that we usually do traditionally every year, but this year has been very unconventional for us in and of itself lol. There's been a lot of ups and downs this year...more so mental gymnastics more than just a general sort of hard, but I'm very pleased with this year overall ^-^. I've grown closer with my sisters and am learning to learn on Jesus each New Year, and I'm finishing 2025 VERY strong. I mean, have I been 100% this year ALL the time, no, definitely not. However, the struggles I have faced have only made me stronger and depend on God all the more...and even though I feel there's plenty of things I still need to work on, I am thankful for the eyes and mental capability to realize those certain issues I have with me so that I can work on it, you know? Anyhow, I'm finishing 2025 with an extremely grateful heart, and I'm entering 2026 with a joyful noise because I know that God's got me in His hands, and that through Christ EVERYTHING is possible. @gabriel_true Day 71: Meeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrry Chriiiiiiiiistmas, Gabby! I can't believe that this day is almost over, but I hope you and your family had a great day? We didn't do much over here, but that's understandable as I said this year has been pretty unconventional for us lol. I mean, we ate a portion of rice and beans for dinner when we usually have a full blown feast, but I'm excited cause next year we will do ALL of the cooking and baking and THEN some XD. We'll make so much that we have to give things away...which I don't mind at all. My sisters and I went on a walk today though, arm-in-arm and hand-in-hand, it was really nice. @gabriel_true Day 73: Just got finished watching two episodes from season two of a Thai drama that I really enjoy. This new season is focusing on a different person in a quadruple friend group than with the first season, and the two episodes focusing on this new friend is so sad and upsetting! The actor and character give off younger brother/sibling energy, and me being a big sister myself, I can't help but see parallels in my own baby brother within this character. The poor thing-I promise you-was crying most of the two episodes because of his stupid dad, and I got so mad simply seeing this very fictional character be mistreated *insert crying face here*. I think it was hard watching the two episodes (and equally as frustrating and upsetting) because I am protective of my baby brother irl, and half of the things said and done to this character would never slide by me irl simply because I wish someone would talk to my baby brother out the side of their face–especially while I'm around? Nah. Someone's gotta be insane lol, because I have told my older sisters before that if someone messes with our baby brother physically one more time, that I wouldn't hesitate to bust them in the head with a chair...it sounds rough, I know, but I can't even begin to explain the things I've had to shield him from, cause some people in this world don't know how to leave others alone. So, they mess around and find out, y'know? Anyhow, Gabby, it just was upsetting and sad that this character literally had no one to defend him...because the only person that ever did died in a car accident, so now he's being mistreated without any breaks. At the end of the day, no matter how badly I threatened the character's father whenever he showed his nasty little face on screen, I did-in fact-remind myself that it's fictional XD. - Why Is Watching Things So Stressful: Ying-Ying

@gabriel_true Day 74: I talked to my older sisters today, Gabby! I know that's probably not shocking since I always mention being around them, but...I mean that I talked to them about a question/troubling thought I've had recently. It's no secret (for anyone that remembers) that I have issues talking about what troubles me (I've mentioned it in threads before), mostly due to me being mean to myself and telling me that I'd waste someone's time mentioning my issues. But, today I actually talked about something and I'm happy about it because it's been such a big issue of mine. Today proved just how much I should do better at trying to speak up about my insecurities to people who truly love me, because they started talking about solutions to these problems I had and even talked about some of their own. We shed some tears together and laughed‐and...I'm just happy I didn't stay quiet this time, Gabby. Cheers to stepping into this New Year much bolder and confident than ever! - I'm Content: Wei-Wei

@gabriel_true Day 75: It's almost New Year's, Gabby, and I can't believe it. I hope you are the healthiest you've ever been coming into 2026, that no matter what comes your way, you are always able to find a purpose in the trials, struggles and tribulations. But, I hope 2026 isn't filled with so much trouble, but that it's filled with peace that Christ gives and not the world, that even in the midst of chaos (whether it's your own or the world's) you are able to smile and praise the LORD with such a joyful noise that people look at you and know where your peace is coming from. I hope that whatever troubles you had in 2025: mental, physical troubles, emotional, spiritual, familial, etc. DO NOT find you in the New Year, but that you step into the New Year with such a boldness and confidence you never knew you had. I pray that you are blessed in your going out and your coming in, Gabby, that you don't have room enough to receive it, but that you will have to pour into others because your blessings are so much. @gabriel_true Day 78: Happy New Year, Gabby! We made it to 2026!! I'm very proud of you and hope this year is blessed beyond human comprehension. For the start of New Year's I've cleaned/scrubbed our downstairs bathroom like crazy because my brothers are funky and don't know how to clean for themselves (they are working on it), but it's okay! I dedicated this cleaning as a sort of Devotions to the LORD for the first day of the New Year. I still think I didn't clean the bathroom well enough because we don't have certain cleaning supplies at the moment, but I scrubbed with what we have until my hands tingled and got warm, so I definitely tried. But, if it were up to me, I'd redo the bathroom completely, cause if only you could see the build of this house, you'd agree with rebuilding things XD. Anyway, I'm sleepy after hours of cleaning, but it's cause it relaxed me. I probably won't go to sleep though...I need to do better at not sleeping lots during the day. - Happy New Year, Gabby! : Princess Daisy
