Has anyone ever learned about D/s relationships? It's like the popular 50 shades of Grey but much more toned down. Want to create a topic regarding how everyone sees this integrated into our reg dating lives and you can't say I'm being nasty because people are out letting the world know they are pan, asexual, gay. Which basically letting everyone know what type of person you would like and that should be personal. Does your personal kink come into play when looking for someone to date?

Gimme a sec, I'll be that guy for you. Ahem! I'm asexual, the life is not for me, BUT I have friends that are into it, and I get what its about. BDSM is a co-dependent lifestyle built on consent, trust, and exploration. Finding safe environments to let out different outlets that may be seen as taboo or problematic with a consenting partner(s). This is something you gotta be emotionally mature with. Not my cup of tea, and I'm personally incompatible with binary dom/sub roles, but this is way more than the whips, chains, assless leather chaps, and all that jazz. If you're comfortable with LARP, you could build off of that understanding as BDSM overlaps. A lot of the same understandings, rules, and mental framings come into play. You can build off of that if you're curious about it. Its not all heavy like those skyrim mods I see in your mod manager, but it does require the ability to compartmentalize or separate reality and fiction. I mean... Otherwise you become THAT guy who locks their RL daughter in a basement and impregnates her over and over again to keep control over her because of some uncontrolled authoritarian fetish. (No really, that shit actually happens.) Think of BDSM as also a way to keep shit like that from happening, by keeping it fictional. Y'all do you!
