I will say this to deflate any negative energy as I am going to bed. I agree Lamby that people have a responsibility to what they eat and produce in the environment. However I will not condemn another to rape or murder based on the consumption of animal products. Since you are Catholic I will quote the bible, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so."

the point is dont give money to the people that are doing this. I'm not sure if your alluding to veganism being expensive, because its cheaper than eating meat. you said something about farms not being bad or something like that, so I pointed out how they were. there is no argument against veganism on the standpoint of ethics, or if there is I have yet to hear one. survival of the fittest justifies doing horrible things to people or things just because you can. @gabe, please for the love of all that is holy show me where I said people should be raped and killed. I will give anyone who can the password to my account because it doesnt exist. no idea what your reading. the bible also contradicts itself constantly, one version says that the animals were put here for man, and the other says that man should care for the animals like he would his own, so I dont derive my ethics from the bible, I just worship the judeo Christian god and try to be a good person.

ohh no I think the easy way of solving that problem is to have it checked legally and the farm owners to be paid for anesthetics or watever they need so that animals don't feel the pain...so the lesser you pay them the more hardships and more the pain the animals currently in farms will have to go through ^^

We are at our deepest core no better than them. We hunger, even to the point of cannibalising our own kind. No species invades us because we were smarter than them in the long run and we became invasive. If you left cows to their own devices I'm sure they'd get along fine without us, if not at this point we have bred them to the point of needing us and not doing so would only cause the species to die out. Which begs the question is it better to live or not have lived at all? Cause a pack of wolves surely doesn't have the right to live off of my cow more than I do. Those chickens that can't walk will go on to make delicious chicken nuggets that will put more of a smile on the face of a child than a salad If I could I'd run my own slaughter house and do it as humanely as possible. I would but that's not possible with them living in a city residential neighborhood.

just a question would vegans be satisfied if the animals were treated with care till they are killed in farms...so by that I mean better conditions than in the wild...and operations if needed are done with anesthetics.............OR do they want to stop killing animals for food in the first place ?

no, cows would end up dead. they have been taken out of the evolutionary cycle. same with chickens and pigs. what gives you the right to eat the flesh of that cow? and why does that right usurp the right of those wolves? if you didn't have a gun you'd be their food, and guns arent natural. if your saying the cow would be eaten anyways then id say that your justifying killing anything just cause it will die anyways, which is ludicrous. let me ask you this, do you think the dog meat festival in china is ethically fine? @koro no, because the animals life is being taken when it wants to live, for unnecessary reasons. now eating it when it dies of natural causes? maybe? but if your farming it that also raises issues of exploitation as well, but I don't go that far.
