Life Advice

At some point in life you'll have to decide -more or less - what sort of policies do you want for yourself as far as personality goes. There's a lot of them so I'll cover only two specific traits, being agreeable or being confrontational. Both sides have issues. Being agreeable can be used as a form of manipulation, basically you can become conscious about how to make friends and how to make them like you to the point where they would be selfless and loyal towards you, to make it happen it's very easy, you just need to agree with them and help them shine, either by providing further insight on why their choices/opinions are good or simply by shutting down opposition, now, the reason why I consider this path ripe with manipulation it's because if you do it unconsciously you'll be used pretty badly by people and will become a pushover, the only way an overly agreeable and non confrontational individual can lead a pacific life is by using others without letting them realize they are being taken advantage of. This is my personal assessment, the other choice is to be confrontational, this path will lead to lots of people hating you, yet, it also leads to a path where you can live by your creeds and choices while also being transparent. You don't have to tolerate people you dislike out of fear of being hated, your own opinions and staunch stances will drive them away before you even need to make a choice in the matter, the problem with this way of bringing yourself forward, is that you need to live and die by your beliefs, you'll be known as a strong person and at the same time many will consider you their enemy if you're not careful. Basically it's all about whether you wish to live a life filled with lies, although, filled with followers, or, to live a life of honesty while being secluded from others. Of course both examples are extremes, you can be honest and not very confrontational by simply evading questions, changing topics, ignoring people, you can also be agreeable while politely opening to careful debate, although, these personality hybrids are very difficult to control.

Live your life the way you want to. Follow your hopes and dreams, even if others don't believe in you. Failure is a part of life and happens all the time. Even safety and back up plans and end up in failure. It's better to fail following your hopes and dreams than to fail at something you don't want in life. Even if your dreams don't end up exactly as you hoped, it's still a better and satisfying feeling to accomplish what you actually want in life than to try and put your all into something that won't make you happy and that you don't want.

People will come up and tell you no one is perfect. From my experience, I suspect the reason no one is perfect is misunderstanding perfection as being. Rather, I believe it is state of mind. Everyone is perfect in mind, to them no one else is perfect. Everyone has their own perspective on life which lends credence to having their own personal perspective on perfection as well. You are your own perfection. You are perfect, just for being alive with your thoughts, and mind. Remember that you don't have to protect that. For no one can take that from you no matter what.
