I overpay for subpar services. But it's a catch 22. I want to support the people that work on supplying the entertainment, so I try not to pirate.
Think to date the only show I pirated was "Elfen Lied," and I paid the price in eternal depression that's never fully healed...
But services like Netflix, Crunchyroll, or Hulu are becoming increasingly annoying because they trade rights to a show mid season and that means to watch one show I might need 3 different subscriptions. One Punch Man for example.
That or the service itself requires multiple tiers. So it may be $15 for season 1 and $30 for season two. Amazon for example does crap like that. "Eminence In Shadow" is a PRIME example.
Hulu's ads are annoying AF and too frequent (feels like every 5-7 minutes for a 1.5 minute ad)
