FUCK NISSAN! No, really. Their CVT transmissions are crap. They break within the first 60k even if the car is brand new. Then the manufacturer tries to get out of their warranty by gaslighting me that "It's normal for Nissan cars to slip gears while on the highway." Nothing about a Nissan is worth buying honestly. The body might as well be made of paper cause I left a hand print on the hood trying to work on my vehicle. I didn't even apply my full weight. Car radio then burnt out on me within the first year and ate one of my CDs. Blew a speaker not long after. Throttle was apparently installed wrong from the manufacturer after I had a trusted mechanic work on it and he found it wasn't fully secured. The reason it broke in the first place. Then found out Nissan was extra shitty and tried to sell a replacement throttle for $1,500. Went through a 3rd party to get a knock-off version for $400. Works better than the original. Only issue is that we needed a code from Nissan to get the part to work with the car's computer. Luckily we found a way to backdoor it because I wasn't about to hand Nissan anymore thousands of dollars for shotty parts! So FUCK YOU, FUCK NISSAN, AND THE FUCKIN GODDAMN DEFECTIVE HORSE YA'LL ROAD IN ON!

Nissan is Nissan. It is not Jeep. Jeep is Jeep. Jeep is real man's vehicle.

I just drove a Nissan Armada during my work trip this week and I have to say it was probably my favorite rental I've been given.

@verucassault There is a difference between leasing a Nissan and owning a Nissan. When you pay $20,000 for a vehicle brand new and drop $10,000 back into it before hitting 100k miles, tell me how great it feels to be driving a shit-san!

Gabe getting a new vehicle for 20k in this day and age XD
swadian
Of course you would need spare parts, you made the mistake of buying a Nissan after all
gabriel_true
Well that was 20k new from 8 years ago. Now you're gonna spend closer to 27k. @lewd_araragi

The Nissan I was driving was in the 45-50K range so that could have contributed too lol.I got a free upgrade.

45k price or milage? I've been told the luxury versions of Nissan vehicles are given greater attention during manufacturing rather than the "poor-man's" selection in the $15k-$30k bracket. So it is possible if one drops $50,000 on the more expensive model that it SHOULD run better. However if it says the transmission is a "Continuously Variable" then don't waste the cash. It ain't worth it.
