I have taken communion before, a long time ago. I used to accompany my grandmother when she went to church. I think the church we went to closed down or something and she visited some different churches she was baptist and i think we went to a catholic styled church. There i was given communion, but i was too young to even understand what was going on.

Protestant Communion is a little different, panda. However, the fundamental is that you must be a believer of Christ. Protestants don't believe the "wine"( They usually use grape juice.) is actually the blood of Christ nor the wafer actually the body of Christ(Metaphorically, it is. But, if I'm not mistaken, Catholics traditionaly believe it's the real deal flesh and blood of Christ.) Again, I don't think that's what matters, but there are differences.
