Religious rants

They dont take away from the message, they simply reinforce the idea that it was right all along. The bible itself has proven itself through prophecy and things coming to pass thousands of years after its inception. People like to categorize faith and being something you must believe in. Its just another way to discredit the bible. Because you dont believe in it, therefore it isnt real. I dont ignore anything. Your arguments are simply based off of an ever changing principle and things we havent discovered yet. The flood of noah didnt happen because science has already proved something that can change with one discovery of a rock. Its illogical.

I mean, by digging soil samples throughout earth we have been able to discover lots of evidence for plenty of worldwide scenarios that have happened over time, we have enough evidence to pinpoint almost 100% accurately when the Great Oxidation Event happened and that was roughly 2.4 billion years ago, there's so much evidence that most of nowaday's Iron that's being not only excavated but also in circulation dates to that specific time period, I don't think something that happened between 6-8K years ago like Noah's flood would be too difficult to pinpoint if it happened - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Oxidation_Event

Unfortunately there isn't any evidence of a global flood. There was a major flood in Southern Iraq where the Sumerians were so that may have originated the flood myth. I always wish the flood would be real. I can only imagine the wonderful horror of a global flood. https://media.tenor.com/WqdUzHZ4CfAAAAAC/anime-nichijou.gif

There isnt evidence currently, but thats why we test theories even decades later. Because as technology advances and smarter people rise to the forefront. We are able to discover something that makes all other things false. You can say the same can be said for the bible. However alot of what has been said has come to pass. I only want people to see it because those who claim its all conspiracy and hoaxes when it happens will be the same sheep that goes along with what we have been trying to warn against. We still havent been able to dig very far down into the earth. China seems to be the only people taking a crack at it. Who knows something may arise from that. New discover new way of thinking. You cant push science and refute the possibility that there isnt an absolute. Even core scientists know things can be disproven. There are even issues with radiometric dating and radiocarbon dating.

"Your arguments are simply based off of an ever changing principle and things we havent discovered yet." Pot meet kettle. Of course there are absolutes, but we haven't found them yet in ANYTHING. Everything is so very, very multifaceted.

I mean, again, 2.4 billions of years ago it's a pretty pretty difficult timeframe to reach by analyzing soil. Why would something happening 6000 years ago be so difficult to find if it was a global event? If it had been a global event there would be evidence everywhere and the sediments would very easily demonstrate a very drastic change in the weather out of nowhere that would of lasted a good amount of time. This isn't about "we need smarter people to keep digging" or "we need to keep digging further" the evidence should be pretty easy to reach given how recent it would of had needed to have happened

Yup. We can find "pre-flood" civilizations, though. Ya know, tiny little grains in comparison to a global catastrophe. Like Gobekli Tepe, for instance. Weird...

Noah almost certainly lived in Mesopotamia, the land situated between and around the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. This region of the Middle East makes up part of northern Iraq and extends to eastern Turkey and the extreme northeast of Syria. Mesopotamia plays a considerable role in Old Testament history. Some of the ancient flood narratives that most closely parallel the biblical record of Noah’s flood come from Mesopotamia. The Gilgamesh Epic, Eridu Genesis, and Atrahasis are all Mesopotamian compositions that contain striking similarities to the Bible’s flood story. After the flood, the Bible states that the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8:4), a mountainous region located in modern-day Turkey. The mountains of Ararat sit at the northern edge of Mesopotamia. So it is likely that Noah and his family lived in Mesopotamia after the flood, as well. The first king in Mesopotamia after the flood was Nimrod, the grandson of Noah’s son Ham (Genesis 10:8). Nimrod’s empire spanned all of Mesopotamia, including what would later be Babylonia and Assyria. The account of Nimrod is contained in the history of most Middle Eastern cultures, and not just that of the Hebrew people. While we cannot know for sure where Noah and his family settled after the flood, Noah’s descendants founded several cities, such as Babylon, Calah, Erech, and Nineveh, all located in Mesopotamia (Genesis 10:10–31). Mesopotamia was also the birthplace of Abraham (Genesis 11:27—12:4). The best deduction, based on the biblical evidence, is that Noah lived in or near Mesopotamia.

Oh, I believe there was a dude who Noah is based on (Doubt his name was "Noah".) and a flood story/stories that the great flood is based on. No doubt there. Something happened with or to someone, like in many places/cultures with many ancient religious figures.
