I was told batman was the devil's agent and that hello kitty was the product of a deal with the devil where the parents immortalized their daughter who was born with a defect where she didn't have a mouth by putting her soul into the hello kitty character these are not things a 4 year old should've heard

https://youtu.be/yExrRAxHE74 it's funny how the pastor says that video games and anime are the things discouraging people from going to church when his type of behavior is part of the reason I left the community not only that but his whole point of women won't like you because you like anime is pretty dumb since the only reason I got into anime was cause my exes kept telling me to watch anime

It's self evident that what Christian scriptures are conveying is to not become overly attached to worldly belongings. I could agree with a religious teacher who spoke of balancing a healthy lifestyle communing with their spirit in God and keeping up with day to day responsibilities.
I'm also in agreement that there are many who place far too much attention on using entertainment to flee life's challenges rather than identifying chances to improve their own life with God.
So I would say that there is a fine line to be kept with both parties knowing that life won't stop simply because one hits pause on their controller. God does expect due diligence where self improvement and awareness are concerned. Yet the teacher must understand and not make exaggerating claims about a fictional piece of media being the source of human dilemmas. It's not the media that causes people to act in an ungodly manner, but their priorities in spirit as reflected through the actions a person takes while inhabiting the flesh.

I had planned at some point to post a long form essay using bible passages to better elucidate certain misconceptions about what Christianity is and what the goals are for aiding humanity to act in a Christlike mindset. Not out of fear of wrath or punishment, but much like the Buddhist, practicing a disciplined lifestyle which leads one to achieve an enlightened mind that is of God.
A short answer to "Why does God allow suffering in this world?" Is because this world is not God's, but man's. "Why would God allow man to create his own world especially if they are not knowledgeable enough to create one?" The best way to approach that question is to consider this world a school where people live through simulated lives to achieve understanding. At times we are placed into situations that in fact test this knowledge. We are allowed to fail these tests not because God, acting as teacher, hates us, but wishes to show where we can improve. Feeling suffering is a hint that something isn't correct and it's up to us as the students to study the situation carefully. Then once we're able to see clearly what must be done can we as a civilization move forward to the next level of understanding. Much like graduating a class to go into a new field of study.
Life is the field exam that prepares us for the real world that is the spirit.
"Someone I cared about suffered and died. Nothing about that taught me anything and therefore either there is no God or that God is sadistic."
Having lost a number of my own to this world's cruelty, I empathize with how one comes to such conclusions. However, a Godless world can only reinforce an apathetic society. If one sees cruelty and inflicts cruelty that cycle continues unabated. To break this cycle one must be willing to live for a higher understanding of human purpose. One that doesn't interpret God as apathetic or nihilistic. "Yet Christianity was and is used as a weapon daily by many. How can you not understand that truth?" What is true is that any tool can be used as weapon through misuse. A wise man once said, "A tool maker cannot be responsible for how a user chooses to make use of it." I agree with this. As a math formula sets the foundation for how we calculate facts of this world, so to does God's word calculate matters of the spirit. If one gets a incorrect value from a math equation, what was wrong was not the equation, but the solver's understanding of the problem. A teacher will know how to reevaluate their student's understanding based upon the answer they give for only one correct answer could be made given that formula. Either the student knows the answer or they must return to the basics. That is what this world serves to accomplish. That is why we are allowed to fail here and not in the spirit where failing would be problematic. The body is temporary, but the spirit not so much.

Does it say anything about God being THE god of this world? Or was satan the god of this world and God is God. Then Jesus will return put an end to satan and create a new Jerusalem. Not stating fact im simply asking here.

As for the batman being the devil, while explicitly no he isnt the devil. All entertainment is seen as bad, while we still enage in them these things take away from you seeking God. Why read the bible when i can just watch grey's anatomy, or real housewives, or boxing, or whatever else is on TV. Also alot of these media stuff have darker hidden signs in them. Like powerpuff girls having "him" which is a character meant to represent satan who seeked to cause chaos and strife amongst buttercup and blossom. Alot of cartoons on cartoonnetwork have very satanic stuff in them. If you sat down as a active follower you would see it. Same for the music industry, madonna mocked the last supper. Then sam smith at the Grammys. These things are all around us. Just food for thought here. Not saying everything is devil and satan butbif you look hard enough you will find them.

I mean you can do that with anything if you look hard enough the brain wants to believe what it wants to believe even if it isn't true I bought into all that religious conspiracy stuff as a kid and suffered nightmares and paranoia everyday because of it since I saw it in everything but as I got older I realized it was just the placebo effect if you look for something hard enough and convince yourself it's there then you're going to find something you can switch satanic stuff with Christianity ideals and you'll end up seeing it everywhere as well it's how the human brain works

For example back to Batman let's look at his ideals he believes that the villains he fights can be redeemed and forgiven no matter how far gone they may seem it's why he doesn't kill now doesn't that sound familiar? Isn't forgiveness and redemption core values when it comes to Christianity?

I'm almost caught up but two things from Satanic Panic. The West Memphis Three and Harry Potter. When the books were first being written one of the teachers at the elementary school I went to was fired because she was reading those books to 1st or 2nd graders and the kids told their parents. Parents claimed their kids were having nightmares because of "witchcraft". Sorcerer's Stone came out in 1997.
For the West Memphis Three (1993), three teenage boys were arrested for the murder of three kids because the teenagers listened to Metallica. There was no evidence that tied the boys to the murders. The movie Devil's Knot is about it and there have been a number of documentaries.
