Vampire vs Zombie

There is another factor to consider. The two factions would be fighting over resources, humans. While zombies would simply be shambling along and bumping into prey. Vampires with their higher intelligence would probably be able to have humans in an area they want them, like a human farm in the basement of their castle or any base of vampire operations. I have to go vampire since they would probably take active measures before the zombie outbreak reaches too far and take a very large sum of humans as livestock. There would probably be a large amount of humans allying themselves with the vampires since a vampire simply needs blood, doesn't need to kill the human to get it.

I just realized that would be a good premise for a movie. Vampires and humans allying with each other to take on a zombie outbreak.

zombie is the winning team @dyadka_yar i already brought that up. vampires can only come out for less then 12 hours each day while zombies have no such restrictions. because of that they have the advantage of hunting humans 24/7, both draining the vampires livestock as well as pumping up their numbers because of this limitation, zombies take the win

@momoichi Well that is the issue, time. If the infection spreads at an insanely fast rate then the vampires lose. However if the infection is slowed due to the humans putting up stiff resistance then the vampires win. If the infection manages to get total habitable area saturation within a month's time then we have problems for the vampires. If it takes longer than that then the zombies are in trouble.

@dyadka_yar if wer talking how humanity could react to the virus, i still think vampires would be fucked. the quarantine would apply to them as well, and breaking and entering for them to eat would have to start happening, which would force the humans to arm themselves more carefully against vampires (things like uv light protection) and in places where the humans die out, the vampire is fucked because he cant travel abroad, if wer agreeing that these vampires can shapeshift, then he can only go as far as his little bat wings can take him, and he cant take anything with him and will be hard to find resources it will be as much of an apocalypse for vampires as it will be for humans. the only ones unaffected by such struggles will be the zombies

One thing... when were talking zombies are we going with the classic "Dawn Of The Dead?" or "World War Z" Zombies cause if its the World War Z then Zombies might have a fighting chance but only if that. Also! Since Vampires have stronger bodies with strength and agility if a Vampire is biten and turns into a Vampire Zombie does that zombie also have enhanced abilities? these are important factors
